A Dream Destination Wedding in Naples
If you’ve ever dreamed of a romantic destination wedding in Naples, let A & F’s beautiful celebration be your sign. Their day was filled with elegance, emotion, and the kind of Italian magic that stays with you long after the sun sets.
Naples is a city full of history, colour, and warmth, and photographing a wedding here was nothing short of unforgettable.
Morning in Posillipo — A Calm Start by the Sea
I began the morning at Via Posillipo, a peaceful corner of Naples overlooking the glistening coastline. With time to get ready, check my kit, and take in the view, it felt like the perfect way to ease into such a special day.
By 10am, I was travelling across the city to capture the groom’s preparations, a scenic drive through the heart of Naples.
Groom Preparations in Viale Privato degli Astronauti
The groom’s prep took place at Viale Privato a relaxed, welcoming space filled with family and natural emotion.
There were quiet moments of anticipation, bursts of laughter, and meaningful interactions with the people closest to him. This is what I love most about destination weddings, the energy feels different, slower, and beautifully intentional.
Bride Prep in Central Naples — Via Carbonara
Next, I travelled to the bride’s Airbnb at Via Carbonara, 127, right in the heart of Naples.
The atmosphere was joyful, warm, and full of excitement. Dresses hung from balconies, soft Italian light filled the rooms, and the bride shared tender moments with her bridal party as she got ready.
Those two hours were a mixture of elegance, emotion, and candid storytelling, the perfect beginning to a Naples wedding day.
A Romantic Ceremony at Parrocchia Corpus Christi
By 3pm we arrived at the stunning Parrocchia Corpus Christi, Via Alessandro Manzoni 225. The ceremony began at 16:00 and felt utterly cinematic, the kind of moment you want to pause and replay forever. Guests wiped tears, hands intertwined, and A & F exchanged vows surrounded by the warmth of Italian sunlight filtering through the church.
If you’re planning a destination wedding in Italy, this church is the perfect blend of reverence, architecture, and atmosphere.
Celebrations Outside the Church
After the ceremony, the steps outside became a gathering place of joy. Hugs, confetti, congratulations, family embraces, the kind of authentic Italian celebration that makes Naples wedding photography so emotional and rewarding.
We captured portraits, group photos, and those fleeting, beautiful interactions between guests.
A Walk to Villa Maria — Naples at Golden Hour
One of the highlights of this destination wedding was the short walk to the reception at Villa Maria, Via Alessandro Manzoni 61. Golden hour painted the streets in warm tones, and A & F walked hand-in-hand through Naples, a memory they’ll treasure forever. Villa Maria itself was a dream: lush gardens, coastal views, elegant table settings, and the most incredible food I’ve ever experienced at a wedding.
Italy knows how to host, and it shows in every detail.
An Evening of Joy, Music & Heartfelt Speeches
From cocktails to dinner, from heartfelt speeches to their first dance under the Italian night sky, the evening unfolded with effortless charm.
What stood out most was the connection between A & F, their families, and their friends. Every embrace, every laugh, every shared glance felt full of love.
And that’s the beauty of photographing a destination wedding in Naples, people arrive ready to celebrate wholeheartedly, and the atmosphere becomes electric.
A Late-Night Drive Through a Sleeping City
Just after 1am, I left Villa Maria and took a quiet drive ride back through Naples. The city, usually so full of movement, was peaceful and glowing.
I remember thinking how grateful I was, not just for the day, but for the experience. For the people. For the trust. For the chance to document a love story in one of the most magical cities in the world.
A & F — Thank You
To A & F: thank you for bringing me to Naples, for welcoming me into your celebration with open hearts, and for allowing me to tell your story in a place filled with so much beauty. Your destination wedding will always hold a special place in my heart.
