A Wedding Day at Home
When couples are choosing where to get married, it's easy to get caught up in searching for the perfect venue. But for K&D, the perfect venue was already waiting for them.
Their wedding took place on the family farm, a place filled with memories, familiar views and the feeling of home. From the moment guests arrived, the day felt relaxed and personal in a way that only weddings like this can.
With sunshine from start to finish, friends and family gathered on the lawn overlooking the countryside. Drinks were shared in the afternoon sun while guests caught up and settled into the easy pace of the day.
One of the things I loved most about this wedding was how effortlessly it reflected K&D as people. Nothing felt forced or overly planned. The focus was simply on spending time with the people they love most and celebrating together.
The speeches brought plenty of laughter and a few tears, with stories shared by family and friends who know them best. As the evening unfolded, guests lingered around the tables, enjoying the warm atmosphere and the beautiful setting.
As the sun began to set, we stepped away for a few quiet moments amongst the fields. The golden light across the farm created the perfect backdrop for some relaxed portraits, giving K&D a chance to pause and soak everything in before heading back to the celebrations.
Back inside, the evening continued with cake, dancing and one very enthusiastic confetti-filled dance floor.
Looking back through these photographs, what stands out most isn't any single moment. It's the feeling that ran through the entire day: happiness, warmth and the comfort of being surrounded by people who matter.
A beautiful wedding in a place that already meant so much.
