Testimonial

"She was so excited to capture our big day and made myself and my new wife feel so loved. I said to Becks the day after it didn't feel like we had a photographer at our wedding it felt like just another good friend of ours sharing the day who just so happened to have a camera. She was professional whilst being able to join in on the fun. All of our friends and family complimented Becks on her professionalism and personality saying how amazing she was. She left a lasting impression in the best of ways."

A Relaxed, Joy-Filled Wrekin Forest Wedding | M & B 🤍

Some weddings just feel different from the moment you arrive.

The kind where everything feels relaxed, joyful and completely true to the couple. The kind where there’s no pressure to follow traditions just for the sake of it, only a genuine focus on celebrating with the people who matter most.

That was exactly what M & B’s wedding at Wrekin Forest felt like.

And honestly? It was the best day ever.

A wedding planned completely their way

What I absolutely loved about this wedding is that they stayed true to themselves.

Every choice felt intentional, personal and completely reflective of who they are as a couple.

And the result? A day that felt relaxed, meaningful, full of laughter and genuinely unforgettable.

A calm, creative morning

The morning had such a lovely atmosphere to it.

No stress. No rushing around. Just people quietly getting ready and enjoying the moment.

One of my favourite little moments from the morning was knowing that B and her bridesmaid made the bouquets together. Completely calm, completely chilled and exactly as they’d planned it. It felt so personal and set the tone for the entire day.

The moment I saw B, she honestly looked like an actual fairy princess.

Every detail had been thought through so carefully too. From the handmade signs lovingly painted by friends, to the tiny personal touches woven throughout the styling.

The best supporting cast (including Keith 🐾)

A huge shout out has to go to M, who absolutely smashed the role of Man of Honour.

And then there was Keith.

Honestly, what an icon.

Keith was clearly such a daddy’s boy and completely stole hearts all day long. Being part of the ceremony made everything feel even more personal and special.

Thoughtful details everywhere

This wedding was packed full of meaningful little details.

The groomsmen wore individual cufflinks connected to their personalities, hobbies and interests, alongside matching spanners tucked into their breast pockets.

I’ll be honest… it took everything in me not to quietly comment “look, a bunch of spanners” every time they walked past 😂

There was also a beautiful memory table during the ceremony filled with photographs of loved ones no longer here, a really touching way to make sure they still felt part of such an important day.

And perhaps one of the coolest wedding guest book ideas I’ve ever seen?

Guests signing a vinyl record.

Honestly… does it get any cooler than that?

Sunshine, confetti & a confetti moment so good we did it twice

For one brief moment, the sunshine turned up like it had literally been hired for the occasion.

And thank goodness it did because the confetti moment was chef’s kiss perfection.

Actually… it was so good we ended up doing it twice.

Once spontaneously as M & B walked back down the aisle and then again with everyone lined up afterwards.

Both moments? Absolutely stunning.

Also, for the first time ever, I didn’t feel the urge to remove petals from the bride’s hair afterwards because somehow they just suited her perfectly and became part of the whole vibe of the day.

Cars, speeches and belly laughs

M’s love of older cars was beautifully incorporated throughout the wedding and suited the style of the day so perfectly.

One of the standout moments during the speeches was an amazing video of him driving a car at just three years old, which honestly made everyone smile.

Huge shout out as well to Roy and the wedding car, who was such a lovely person to chat to and (fun fact!) used to be a wedding photographer himself, meaning he absolutely knew all the best angles.

We even managed to get some incredible photos through the sunroof which I absolutely loved.

And then there were the speeches…

Oh my goodness.

The perfect combination of laughter, emotion, shock and just enough embarrassing stories to keep everyone entertained 👀

A special mention also goes to J, who quickly earned the nickname “Master of Mischief” because honestly, he was just brilliant fun all day.

When the weather changes… just roll with it

After sunshine during confetti, the weather definitely had other plans.

The rain arrived dramatically, everyone made a run for cover and the timeline shifted around a little to make the most of the day.

But honestly? It didn’t matter one bit.

If anything, it added even more fun to the atmosphere.

Cake cutting moved forward while everyone waited for the weather to calm down, which feels like the perfect time to mention…The cake.

Homemade by B’s mum.

Homemade topper included.

And trust me when I say, despite the rain, there was absolutely no soggy bottom on this bake 😄

It was genuinely delicious.

Archery, rifle shooting, cricket & zip lines?!

Just when I thought the day couldn’t get any more fun… the evening happened.

Archery. Rifle shooting. Cricket. A zip line.

And guests throwing themselves into every bit of it.

Including me obviously having a go on the zip line (strictly for research purposes 😂).

One guest dramatically throwing himself into “the slips” during cricket had me absolutely belly laughing.

And then there was the recreation of a family photograph for Nan S, with all the cousins back together again 17 years later.

Those are the moments that feel so special to document.

The kind of people you just instantly adore

More than anything though, what stood out most about M & B was simply them.

The kind of people who make everyone around them feel relaxed.

The kind of people where it feels impossible not to get along with them.

Their energy is infectious, their love feels effortless, and their friends and family are so lucky to have them.

It was such a privilege to witness their day and create images that I hope will transport them straight back to every laugh, every little moment and every memory for years to come.

Because weddings don’t have to look one particular way.

Sometimes the very best weddings are simply the ones where you do things completely your own way 🤍
